Signing the t-shirt

August 8th, 2007Gamers luncheon
August 7th, 2007Our good friends over at NIU Advising discovered the NIU View and started exploring. They ended up really enjoying playing our NIU View games, especially Amanda Munchers. In fact, a couple of them played it so much, and did so well, even our designer Scott was surprised. We at the NIU View wondered who was our mysterious top gamer, Brody Broshears.
We discovered who he was from Dan Turner. It turned out that Dan was the top gamer in disguise. We devised a plan to entrap Michael “Brody” Broshears into an official NIU View gamers luncheon where the top player would receive a prize, be treated to lunch, and along with his competitors, join into a usability and eye-tracking study of our gamer audience.
I have to hand it to Brody. He figured out what was going on, but not before I made him nervous that without his participation in our study, we might not be able to sustain the NIU View. After all, we needed to assess its effectiveness in targeting certain audiences.
We took him out to lunch, and presented him with a t-shirt, designed by Rachel Turner.
I just want to thank everybody who was involved. We had a lot of fun!
